The Hygge Studio - Mood Board

Are you ready for this?!?!?! We are working hard on building our studio/event space and are going to start sharing some updates as we go through the design process!

WIndows

Lot & lots of windows! There will be 10 windows and 2 doors that let in natural light in the main studio space! The goal is to allow for as much natural light as possible to make creating all your beautiful photos, effortless. Natural light creates an open and airy feel perfect for hosting your small events.

White Walls & Feature Walls

There will be plenty of white wall space to shoot on and one particularly giant white wall, 25 feet of giant white wall to be exact! We will also have two rolling background walls that will feature seasonal colors. The plan is to have large mirrors on the backs of the rolling walls for fitness classes to also be possible. We will have a concrete floor with a matte finish and back drop paper available for white and other flooring color options.

Tables & Chairs

We are designing for a storage space in the building that will house 32 wood chairs and four 7’ wood tables. If you rent out the space for an event, those tables and chairs will be at your disposal.

Events

We hope to be a space that helps you have fun, teach, learn, and gather! There will be specific rental hours for small events including but not limited to baby showers, bridal showers, work events, lunch parties, fitness classes and workshops. We will have our occupancy limit in our bookings page. We will have a restroom in the space, can’t forget about that!!

Store Front

And finally, we plan to have a small store front opportunity on the north side of our building. We will have some built-ins, shelves, a few clothing racks and other small displays and long window bench that will also provide for additional seating. We want to give local business who shoot at our studio the opportunity to display their items and provide more sales opportunities for them. More to come on renting store front space :)

I saw these built-ins during our visit to Magnolia and absolutely fell in love and knew I wanted something like this in a store someday.
